Evolution Cassis

Further proof that beauty isn’t only skin deep.
Experience the Evolution. Winnebago Industries engineers worked closely with Freightliner® to create the Evolution Chassis for the 2004 Horizon®. Available only from Winnebago Industries and designed specifically for this motor home application, Evolution represents the next generation of diesel pusher technology with one-piece formed steel chassis rails that are 25% thicker than traditional raised rails for added strength and performance without the restrictive bulk and weight of stacked rails. Formed rails also provide increased mid-section storage, better weight distribution and improved floor plan flexibility. Evolution delivers a premium driving experience with a powerful 330-HP Caterpillar diesel engine. Or, on 40 foot models, choose the 350-hp Cummins® engine and independent front suspension with an impressive 56° wheel cut, for even more luxury performance.

Features:

  • 50,000-PSI frame rails are 25% thicker than traditional raised rails for additional strength.
  • Dual fill—100-gallon tank capacity.
  • ZF Independent Front Suspension (IFS) allows up to 56 degrees of wheel cut for one of the tightest turning radiuses in the industry and is available on all 40 foot models. The standard I-Beam axle provides a 50 degree wheel cut.
  • The compressed air system includes a heated automatic moisture ejector and air dryer along with remote drain controls.
  • 4-wheel, ABS anti-lock air brakes.
  • Air lines are color coded for ease of service.
  • Adjustable brake and accelerator pedals.
  • Michelin® tires and polished aluminum wheels.
  • 3-Year/50,000-Mile Warranty (including towing and roadside assistance)—more than 350 North American service locations, 50 Freightliner RV Oasis locations and a 24/7 help line add up to a commitment your customers can count on.
